It's been raining a lot around here in the past few weeks. I love the rain and we need it here definitely but the problem is that my ants are back. Ya can't blame 'em... they're just trying to get out of the rain. They want inside where it's nice and dry but there are millions of them... I've counted... literally millions of them in the house. I can't imagine there are ants anywhere else in north Texas because there are so many of them... and like I said, I don't blame them for wanting to go where it's dry... so I thought perhaps it would be better for me to build another house for the ants to go into... it wouldn't have to be a big house with high ceilings, it could be very very low and kinda small really. They could build it themselves, they're worker ants. I could leave materials out and they could build it themselves. I actually mentioned this to somebody and have you ever noticed that whenever you mention a problem to somebody, everyone has a solution for it. I'm trying to get rid of them in a healthy nontoxic way and so someone said there's this chalk that you can buy... it's illegal... but it's sold in Chinatown... I guess you drive around late at night looking for somebody... but you put it along the windowsill and door frames and they won't cross it... but I don't want a chalk violation because once you get those on your record, they don't come off. Then somebody said lavender oil... same thing, along the windows and doors... but then I'm scared that Fabio is going to show up with chocolate... I wanna stress, I don't mind ants... I'm not anti-ant at all... because they serve a purpose like everything on this Earth does... they move soil around and they eat decomposing plants on the ground... they just don't serve a purpose in my house... I don't need my Ramen noodles moved across my kitchen...
