It's getting cold here in Texas... finally... we don't really have seasons here and it's starting to get a little bit chilly... and about a week ago, it hailed... or as I like to call it, "Rain... on the rocks." It's cold here... I like it so much, I didn't want to get out of bed. Cuz it was so warm and it's cold outside... my nose was like a little ice cube... and it was wet so that means I'm healthy. I wish I could have just cuddled up with a blanket and watched BET all morning. It was so cold that I could see my own breath. Then I realized I was smoking a cigarette. (kidding) The worst part about getting out of the bed and getting going is the shower. It's that long walk across the cold tiles when it's cold... and you're tiptoing as if you're trying to sneak up on the bathroom. When you get in there, you kinda hug yourself. Not because you haven't seen yourself in a while, but you just wanna be completely covered with water. And then, you only want water on you. And sometimes you run out of hot water because you've been standing there way way too long and you've still got shampoo in your hair. Always take care of your cleaning needs first. I'll stay in a nice warm shower even if I know I'm gonna be late because it's so cozy. I assume it's like being in a womb... it's just so cozy and I assume that's why some babies are late... Doctors have heard them on a sonogram before: "Just five more minutes..."
